PASTOR DONALD L. ROBINSON, JR.

Pastor Donald L. Robinson, Jr., is a significant voice of Christianity throughout the world.  He has been

"Called to Serve this Present Age."

Donald, Jr., was born in Rock Island, IL, and was reared in a God-fearing home.  He is the second of four children born to the late Rev. Donald L. Robinson, Sr., and Elder Jane Shelton Robinson.  He grew up in the church and learned strong work ethics at an early age.  He taught Sunday School and worked in many capacities as a young teenager in the church.  God knew that He would be called into ministry and was preparing him for the task at hand.  At the age of 19, he willingly accepted the call to preach the Gospel.

Upon relocating to New Orleans in 1981, Pastor Robinson was guided by the Holy Spirit to become a member of Greater Stephen FGBC under the leadership of his spiritual father, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr.  He was ordained in 1984 under the auspices of the Ideal Missionary Baptist and Educational Association.  While at Greater St. Stephen, Pastor Robinson served faithfully as the Youth Pastor and the First Assistant to Bishop Morton.

He currently serves as Co-Board Chair of the MICAH Project; CURE; Habitat for Humanity (New Orleans Chapter);  member of the Greater New Orleans Pastor's Coalition and Jefferson Parish Cops and Clergy.  He is the organizer of the Causeway Church Connection.  His heart is for people and it is evident through his ministry.

Pastor Robinson is married to Kristi Lynn Gipson-Robinson and they have four children and the grandparents of four.
